This month Oracle's Patrick Combs will be joining us to talk about the latest version of Oracle Enterprise Manager. OEM is Oracle's integrated enterprise information technology (IT) management product line, which provides the industry's only complete, integrated, and business-driven enterprise cloud management solution. Oracle Enterprise Manager creates business value for IT by leveraging the built-in management capabilities of the Oracle stack for traditional and cloud environments, enabling customers to achieve unprecedented efficiency gains while dramatically increasing service levels. With the latest release, 12 1.0.5, Enterprise Manager now brings the tools provided for managing on premises business critical applications to Oracle's public cloud. This session will provide insight into the latest release around database and middleware management as well as provide best practices for the operational implementation that will empower your IT organization and take things to the next level.

Patrick Combs is a Master Principal Consultant/Cloud Architect with Oracle Corp. Patrick is a highly skilled technology professional with experience managing large global enterprise implementations with Oracle's Cloud solutions specific to Platform as a Service (PaaS) using Enterprise Manager. Prior to his current role, Patrick was Director of Business Development and Best Practices for the Enterprise Manager Cloud Product Management group. Patrick also has 15 years of practical real world experience as the Director of Enterprise Management Service and Project Manager for Applications IT internally at Oracle. Patrick has been in IT for over 20 years, working in data center operations; enterprise cloud architecture; planning, deploying as well as managing.
