March 22, 2016 Due to a late-breaking speaker cancellation, this month's topic will be another installment in the popular "Troy's Tools" series, presented by SOUG President, Troy Ligon. Troy will be providing a sneak peak of his Introduction to ASH session that he will be presenting at Collaborate 16 in Las Vegas next month. You can expect to come away with a basic understanding of what ASH is and is not, as well as a handful of useful scripts you can use to query the ASH data directly rather than just relying on the canned ASH reports delivered by Oracle. With over 30 years of IT experience (25 of that as an Oracle DBA), Troy has travelled extensively, serving a variety of customers primarily in the Public Sector, Manufacturing, and Financial Services sectors. Troy is currently a Director of Technical Architecture, leading the Oracle DBA team for the Prepaid and Gift Card division of American Express.
