February 27, 2018 The state of the art today in heterogeneous replication is Oracle's GoldenGate product. This month, Oracle's Bobby Curtis will be joining us to provide an introduction to GoldenGate as well as an overview of some of the latest features recently added in GoldenGate 12.2. Bobby litterally "wrote the book" on GoldenGate and attendees will have an opportunity to score a copy in the night's raffle. Bobby Curtis is the Director of Product Managment for Oracle GoldenGate at Oracle, an Oracle ACE Alumni, and published author. His role at Oracle is to develop and communicate the effectiveness that Oracle GoldenGate brings to industry and cloud solutions. Prior to joining Oracle, Bobby worked for various consulting firms specializing in creating, maintaining, tuning, and integrating enterprise databases solutions to help solve business problems. Bobby hosts a blog, http://dbasolved.com, which is respected as a source of information for solving complex issues related to Oracle technologies, especially Oracle GoldenGate. Along with his blog, Bobby is active on twitter under the handle, @DBASolved. During his down time, Bobby enjoys spending time with his family while traveling to watch his children compete in their respective sports. Outside of work, he is a geek either writing the next chapters of an upcoming book or looking for technical solutions to solve.
